Ikat, or Ikkat, is a traditional dyeing technique used to pattern textiles that employs a resist dyeing process on the warp or weft threads before weaving into cloth to create the pattern, resulting in unique and beautifully patterned fabrics. This Ikat features a solid background colour with a fine hatch line pattern repeated throughout.
